Congratulations to Katie DeCrane on her promotion to Assistant District Manager for the Central Region!
In her new role, Katie will continue to develop her print and digital teammates with four training days per month, while helping to expand the Chicagoland market!
Katie started her career with AMP in July of 2020. Her consistent success and leadership early on allowed her to advance her career at warp speed! Katie is a consummate professional and always brings a great attitude into the sales field. She absolutely loves working with small business owners and helping them market their businesses. Katie was the captain of her high school cheerleading team for basketball and football. She shows that team spirit here with AMP as she congratulates her teammates on their sales in the WhatsApp chain and sends out messages in the morning to get her team fired up for the day. She has also inspired us all as a main topic speaker on the morning success calls.
With how patient and thoughtful Katie can be, it’s no surprise that she has a background in education. She worked as a teacher and also ran a small business prior to starting at AMP. She took those skills and applied them to our work which led to a ton of success and advancement opportunities. She shared some knowledge co-hosting her first Leadership Development Program last year and further advanced her public speaking and leadership skills. In 2022, Katie has averaged $19,797 in total sales per month, $11,892 OPTIMA™ per month, and 14 accounts per month. On top of the impressive personal selling numbers, Katie always delivers impactful training days with her teammates.
Outside of work, Katie loves spending time with her daughter, Taylor, playing board games, painting, and baking. Katie is now teaching Tay another important life skill as “momma’s little girl” will be getting her license in September and starting to drive on her own. Katie works hard and plays hard. If she’s not helping small business owners, or spending time with Taylor, she’s likely doing some powersports with her boyfriend Mike (who she lovingly calls a “gearhead”), hanging out with the “cutest naughty pup” Frankie, or you can find her cheering on her beloved Chicago Cubs!
I asked her District Manager, Raphael Weaver, about the impact Katie has had in the growth of South Chicago Digital and he responded with this: “Katie DeCrane is a such a joy to work with! She is the ultimate team player and is always willing to help anyone throughout the organization at a moments notice. She is extremely organized and has a tremendous work ethic and holds herself accountable to a high standard. I’m very proud of how quickly KT has built a successful career at AMP while also helping so many others along the way. Congratulations Katie, your future is extremely bright!
Raphael hit the nail on the head. Katie is known for being a leader of our Onboarding Team and is consistently one of the first voices our Central Region new hires hear after completing their first day of training. Katie is the perfect person to pump you up when you need it, or provide a shot of positivity to start the day. This is the mark of a leader and someone we are excited to see thrive in her new role.
