Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and passionate Summer Sales Intern who thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment and is eager to help small business owners succeed. As an intern at AMP, you’ll play an essential role in generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals with small business owners. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales while learning about the marketing industry and developing essential business skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and generate leads for potential small business clients.
- Engage with small business owners to understand their needs and offer AMP’s marketing solutions.
- Build relationships with potential clients to help them grow their online presence.
- Close sales and drive results to meet and exceed set goals.
- Learn and apply the AMP sales process, improving your communication, active listening, and negotiation skills.
- Adapt to various situations and connect with customers from different industries.

Requirements:
- Education: Completed Junior Year of college, entering Senior Year of college.
- Location: Must be based in the Cincinnati, Ohio Metropolitan area for the duration of the internship.
- Availability: Full-time availability (40 hours/week) for an 8-week program from June to August.
- Skills & Traits:
- High energy, persuasive, and goal-driven personality.
- Positive, quick-thinking, and adaptable with strong mental fortitude.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for helping others.
- No prior sales experience is required, but related experience (e.g., retail, serving, bartending, leadership) is a plus.
