AMP Smart Hours Program.

Purpose

The purpose of the AMP Smart Hours Program is to permit employees who are currently performing well in their role, to establish full-time working hours that maintain their productivity as full time employees on a schedule that enables them to meet unique personal circumstances and obligations away from work. The Smart Hours Program recognizes that good people lead full lives, and is an expression of AMP’s desire to help employees manage the joys and responsibilities of exceptional lives while they remain dedicated and focused on building a strong career in their business life.

Eligibility

Employee is requesting consideration for an alternative work schedule.

Employee is aware that an alternative work schedule is a privilege that is offered as an option to tenured employees (as described in Employee Handbook) who are performing at or above overall expectation for his/her position.

Employee recognizes that an alternative work schedule comes with the expectation that all duties and responsibilities will continue to get done on time with accuracy and excellence.

Employee understands that if, at any point, the alternative work schedule proves to show an overall decline in performance, such schedule may no longer be made available to employee until there is documented improvement in overall performance.
