Congratulations to Jessica Arends on winning Shared Services Employee of the Year!
Jessica started with us in January of 2021 as an Account Manager under Raegan. During her onboarding, she quickly realized that sales was not for her, but loved AMP. Raegan reached out to Jen Bock and asked if she had any openings. Jen had Jess shadow both Admin and Accounting and she was interested in contract entry, but Accounting had the greater need to be filled. She will tell you that she does not know how Jen Bock sold her on doing math, but she is very grateful because she loves her job and her team. This past year there have been many times that she wore the many hats of AR because we were training Jen Elshoff to do other tasks and she did it without complaint and would always raise her hand if she needed help meeting a deadline, which is an honorable trait…admitting that you need help. AMP Support Services is very lucky to have her and she is very deserving of being AMP’s Employee of the year.
Jessica is an incredibly professional, kind and attentive individual. Anyone who has an interaction with Jessica knows how thorough she is with her work. She shows up each day with a positive attitude, hungry to learn more and push herself. Jessica is always willing to take on new projects without hesitation and tends to ask the “why” behind processes. Jessica has pushed her self this last year to step out of her comfort zone by speaking to customers and taking payments over the phone. She is the voice of Accounting when reps call with questions and has developed the confidence in her decision making to be able to set expectations regarding exceptions with payment plans. She always brings an incredibly positive and friendly attitude to every situation.
