Congratulations to our Finance Employee of the Year, Mike Reines!

Mike joined AMP in 2021 as a Staff Accountant. Since starting at AMP, Mike’s responsibilities have grown to include month end close, reports, and analysis around the accounts receivable side of the business. Due to Mike’s high attention to detail, overall AMP institutional knowledge, and level of finance responsibility, he was promoted to Senior Accountant in November 2023. Mike’s ability to meet tight deadlines while still growing his responsibilities at AMP made him perfect for this role. 

Mike’s level of dedication and initiative did not go unnoticed by his colleagues, as evidenced by their heartfelt testimonials…

Becky Peterson had this to say about him:

“Mike Reines has been a tremendous help to the department and to me while I have been out on leave. He is a hard worker and catches on quickly to processes that he has not ever done before. He does his work (and mine) with a smile and has been a big inspiration to me!”

Karen Bourdage also acknowledged Mike’s exceptional contributions:

“During a period when our very busy AP Specialist was absent from the office, Mike stepped in and managed both his current responsibilities and many of her responsibilities too. He learned her processes ahead of her absence, sitting through hours of training, and then executed the work flawlessly and without complaint. At a time of year when the Finance team is typically their busiest, Mike did not hesitate to cover for his fellow teammate during her time of need. AMP appreciates Mike’s continued positivity toward all of his responsibilities, and particularly during a period of time when we needed more from him.”

Mike’s dedication was also particularly evident during the challenging month of November, which requires a much tighter deadline for the month-end close. He put in long hours to ensure that our month-end close was completed accurately and on schedule. His consistent work ethic and determination have made a significant impact on our organization.
