Kelly Johnson joined AMP in September 2023 as the HRIS Manager bringing with her a 25+ year history in the Human Resources field. Prior to joining AMP, she contributed in various capacities and at increasing levels of responsibility in both the manufacturing and educational industries. Kelly immediately made a positive impact at AMP, quickly demonstrating her vast knowledge of employment policy, benefits management and payroll administration. In May 2025, she was promoted as the Director of Human Resources where she displays her strong work ethic and tenacity to follow through to the final detail on everything she touches.

As the Director of Human Resources, Kelly is a people-first leader which is reflected in her personal mission statement, “Integrity and kindness go hand in hand. Integrity guides me to do what’s right, even when it’s difficult, and kindness reminds me that how I treat others matters just as much as the outcomes I achieve.” Kelly prides herself on being an effective communicator and listener, and always operates with an open-door policy for all employees. As an HR professional, integrity, mutual respect and confidentiality are first and foremost to her.

Outside of work, Kelly enjoys spending time with her family and friends hiking, traveling, fishing, snowmobiling, kayaking; basically anything outdoors and adventurous, you can count her in. She tries to live life to the fullest and enjoy the journey along the way!
