Congratulations to Morgan Perkins on her promotion to OPTIMA™ Fulfillment Social Specialist!
Please join us in congratulating Morgan Perkins on her recent promotion to our new OPTIMA™ Fulfillment Social Specialist! Morgan started her career at American Marketing & Publishing in our Schaumburg office as an account manager, but transitioned to the verification team in April of 2019. With her attention to detail and a beaming smile you can hear through the phone, it didn’t take long for her to become a customer favorite and an expert in her role as a Verification Specialist.
Because of Morgan’s killer communication skills, she’s been involved in several side projects for the OPTIMA fulfillment team since close to the beginning of her adventure with us. She was one of the first to work our Google My Business Agency Dashboard transition, has assisted the OPTIMA™ Fulfillment Trainer with secondary training of new hires, and tested functions of our new password generator, excitedly. Towards the end of 2019, we asked her how she would feel about taking on large accounts that could require more time and attention. She took on the challenge of owning those multi-location OPTIMA™ customers, ensuring all contacts from all locations were looped in, verifications were completed on all accounts and made sure they had a smooth transition to their account manager.
Morgan is the very definition of a team player and was recently nominated by Inside Sales for Employee of the Month. Here is what our Schaumburg Account Managers had to say about her:
“We want to nominate Morgan Perkins for employee of the month! In July, our digital account manager started selling Facebook Social to existing clients. Morgan is the social specialist assigned to help create, develop and explain our social program to our existing clients. Morgan is extremely detailed oriented, quick to respond and a very hard worker. In the last month, digital inside sales has sold 130 FB packages and Morgan took it upon herself to make sure all Pages were up ASAP. We actually sold a FB package on Friday and Morgan had their FB page claimed, verified and ready to post by Monday! We really appreciate Morgan’s help with this launch of this product.”
In Morgan’s new role, she is not only putting her current skills to the test – she is coming in every day ready to learn new skills and additional ways to help our small business owners excel in their new venture into Social Media. She’s been behind the scenes leading our + Social Pilot in research and implementation. She will continue to work closely with the new OPTIMA™ Account Manager Social Specialist, Sarah Mick, to service our + Social customers in the best way possible, from initial setup of the Page to explaining how the business owner should engage with potential customers through posts and messaging. We are 155 small businesses in to this Facebook offering, and have only just begun.
Morgan has had a heck of a 2020! Before COVID, she was able to sneak away to a well-deserved vacation in HAWAII, where she came home an engaged woman! Shortly after she and her fiancé Tyler came back, they purchased their first home that is shared with their adorable yorkie pup, Sniper. In Morgan’s free time, she and Tyler decided to take full advantage of the stay home order and have been unpacking, decorating, and turning their first home into a their true home. What’s next for Morgan? Well, she did spend the month of June hand making wedding invitations and she said YES to the DRESS! BRING ON 2021 – she’s ready to marry that fiancé of hers!
