Please join me in congratulating Colleen Francis on her promotion to DIS Assignment and Support Manager.
Colleen joined AMP nearly two years ago, shortly after graduating from the University of Missouri where she studied Journalism. She started as a Digital Development Specialist in our Schaumburg office back when barely fit in our first office. She began by strictly selling GSV throughout the Midwest and made numerous sales. Despite having sales success, Colleen’s biggest passion was for helping her teammates find success. With a big brain, great organizational skills and an ability to figure stuff out, she transitioned into a newly created role for the Schaumburg team, DIS Administrative Assistant. In that role, Colleen worked to support all Digital Inside Sales Representatives getting new team members totally set up for success, helping manage assignment allocation, conducting customer touchpoints, organizing materials needed for the office and training the team on Sugar and contract entry. She was voted, by her peers, Employee of the Month her first year in this role. At the beginning of 2020, Colleen moved into a Senior Admin Assistant role, taking on additional responsibilities for the team while now also supporting our Coralville and Schaumburg Digital Inside Sales Offices.
Over the last couple of years, Colleen has been instrumental as the DIS team as transitioned into fully using the SugarCRM platform. Colleen has helped trained numerous members on newly created touchpoint systems, contract entry, and has been the point of contact in the OSM Refactor. Colleen works with multiple departments from Admin, IT, Accounting, Sales Support, and OPTIMA Fulfillment. Colleen is the glue that helps connect all the departments together. If you need a question asked on Sugar CRM or something IT related – ask Colleen! Throughout the year, Colleen has taken on many new tasks including managing and creating the reports we use for performance tracking and recognition. Colleen headed that task creating a fluid customer endorsement collection and distribution process so that we could share and support our partners in the field.
In her newly created role as DIS Assignment and Support Manager, Colleen will work along Inside Sales Leaders helping organize account assignments working on touchpoint management. She will be continue to be the subject matter expert on SugarCRM for DIS. Colleen will also work with our DIS Admin Assistant, Admin, and Sales Support teams to continue to provide support for our Digital Inside Sales Teams.
In Colleen’s free time, she enjoys musical theater, singing, and music. Colleen also loves traveling and her favorite travel spot is at her family’s condo in Colorado. She is very passionate about reading and writing. Colleen is always looking for a good new book!
Colleen Francis is the type of lesser known leader this is foundational important to our department and to the company. She consistently goes above and beyond and always creatively looks for solutions to enable more sales, less chaos and better all-around customer experiences. We’re lucky to be on her team!
