Congratulations to Beth Hedger on her promotion to Senior Sales Rep for DeKalb Inside Sales!
Beth started with AMP in September, 2020. She was a quick learner although she’s confident she’s on record as the first person (possibly only) to say “no” when was encouraged to pick up the phone and start prospecting. Beth’s learned a lot since then and recognizes pausing as her potential downfall. She now prides herself on thinking quickly and asking questions during the call to keep the conversation alive.
Beth’s first new sale was an auto detailer who subsequently grew to a special placement and OPTIMA program! Since achieving onboarding, Beth’s done nothing, but get better. She’s improved her sales over the prior month five of the seven full months she’s worked at AMP. Check out this streak…November $14,870; December $19,017; February $22,300; March $24,055; April $30,907. She’s sold 22 print new this year as well. Beth will be a big contributor to a lot of successful projects as she just helped navigate Little Chute, WI to the winner’s circle!
Prior to AMP, Beth had a very successful career in furniture sales working as a manager at the Walter E Smith Furniture showroom in Lincoln Park. More recently worked as a Design Expert for Crate and Barrel in Tampa, FL where she lived for the last 17 years. Beth is courageous! She moved back to Illinois in August making a professional and personal big life change during the pandemic.
Beth has 2 incredible daughters, Anna and Caroline. Anna is in college in Tennessee and Caroline will be headed to the great state of Washington in the fall to attend the University of Washington. She remains very close to her Mom (who she’s named after), Lona who lives in Northbrook, Il where she grew up. Beth loves to walk, especially with her dog, Dobby. She also enjoys biking, reading, gardening, cooking and she’s very happy to see outdoor markets reopening!
