Emily Miles Promoted to DIS System Logistics and Product Development Coordinator

Congratulations to Emily Miles on her promotion to DIS System Logistics and Product Development Coordinator!

Emily started in November of 2020 as an associate Account Manager for the Iowa Digital Inside Sales team bringing significant professional marketing experience in content editing, website creation and social media management from her previous positions.  She quickly mastered the OPTIMA™ sale becoming a star top 10 Rookie seller on the team and winner of the AMP Distinguished Sales Award. As a side gig Emily made herself an invaluable go-to person for technical and system questions for the DIS team. As she continued to suggest new ideas and enhancements Emily’s technical acumen earned her a promotion to Product & Systems Coordinator for Digital Services where she spent half of her time with her customers and the other half with the IT team to test new system enhancements. In this new role Emily had broader reach to help new hires and remote team members get off to a great technical start while still managing and renewing accounts.  Emily’s outstanding ability to multitask is evident in her results.  She averaged over $34,000 and over 9 NDR accounts per month this year, even though a few months ago she started selling part time. As both the systems and products continued to evolve the demands on her time grew and it became clear that there was more than a part time role for someone with Emily’s unique combination of sales skill, system understanding, and technical ability.

In her new role she will work full time on systems and products to include: new website template development, streamlining touchpoint processes, report scoping, creating technical trainings, and user acceptance testing. To keep her sales skills sharp Emily will maintain a small book of accounts each month.

Outside of work, Emily enjoys spending time with her fiancée Derek and their Beagle rescue, Ollie. She loves spending time with her family, especially babysitting her niece and nephew. Aunt Emily’s enjoyment of sci-fi and fantasy including her enthusiastic affection for Harry Potter mementos (ie Tattoo, license plate, illustrated books and multiple logo sets) make her a particularly fun babysitter!  As a member of her hometown community, she is an avid member of P.E.O. Chapter AU where she helps raise money for educating women whether it is locally, nationally, or even internationally.

Congratulations, Emily, on this well-deserved promotion!
