Congratulations to Kinsey Smith on her promotion to Senior Hiring Manager!

Kinsey started with AMP in March of 2021 with our Digital Inside Sales team in Toledo, OH. A month later, Kinsey made the transition to our Recruitment team to align her skill-set with reaching out to candidates, and selling a different type of product, starting her career with AMP. Kinsey is an energetic and positive force, and those skills have propelled her to success!

Kinsey graduated with a degree in Education from Bowling Green University. She has a passion for helping and teaching. She was an instructor at a gymnastics facility, passing on the lessons she learned from her time as a gymnast to the next generation. She was an English teacher in Thailand for a year, challenging herself to be outside of her comfort zone in a new environment. She was a lead preschool teacher, a Sunday morning director at church, and an assistant director at a gym. Roles that gave her the responsibility of influencing others around her in a positive way through education and teaching life skills.

Kinsey was looking for a role outside of the traditional classroom and did a search for publishing in her local area. She found our posting and started looking into AMP. She saw our passion for small businesses and how we focused on local communities. This really hit home for her as her Dad is a small business owner. She understands how hard small business owners work and the vital role they serve in their communities. She felt that her background in teaching and working with people would translate well into what we do. She was right! Kinsey has made a tremendous impact on the markets she serves, as well as others around her with constant support, positive energy, and a tireless work ethic.

Kinsey is very family oriented and has a great support system around her. In the summers she can be found spending time with her Mom, Dad, older sister, and her three nieces and three nephews at their lake house in Indiana. She enjoys making special memories with them there, and having the chance to stay close with her loved ones. She is a big fan of the Ohio State University and cheers for the Buckeyes year round! Her sister lives in Michigan and cheers for UM, so that rivalry game each year has taken on a special meaning for them.
