Congratulations to Cheryl Montgomery on her promotion to OPTIMA™ Verification Escalation Specialist!

Cheryl joined AMP in August 2016 when Verification was still referred to as “Claiming”. Over the years, Cheryl has set up thousands of OPTIMA™ customers as a Verification Specialist. She has easily become the go-to person on the team for tough site issues. If anyone needs help with calls or site issues, Cheryl is always willing to jump in and assist where she can. If you ever visit the Verification department, you will likely hear Cheryl on the phone, either helping a customer get verified or reaching out to sites to finalize accounts.

Cheryl was a finalist for the Employee of the Year award in both 2020 and 2021 and was promoted to the role of Senior Verification Specialist in April 2022. Over the years, Cheryl has taken on additional responsibilities, including setting up GSV Google listings and providing Product Support for customers calling in to complete their accounts.

In Cheryl’s new role as OPTIMA™ Verification Escalation Specialist, she will continue to collaborate with Product Support to ensure account completion and the setup of GSV Google listings. Her focus will shift towards assisting our existing renewal customers. Cheryl will also serve as a backup for our Verification team, helping with customer setups or calls as needed.

Outside of work, Cheryl enjoys swimming in her free time and cherishes Mother-Daughter moments when possible. She also looks forward to weekend trips to Costco with her son. Cheryl shares her home with 1 dog, Lucky, and 4 cats: Clyde, Bowyer, Kallie, and Bowman. She also values spending time with her best friend Mikey. When she’s not with her children, pets, or friends, Cheryl can often be found driving down to her parent’s house in Marshall.
