Labor Day Promotion Generates $5,000 in Sales with CloseBy® Text

As the summer closes out, Labor Day is a great way to soak up the last moments of the season before fall creeps in. Each Labor Day we spend time enjoying the warm weather, cooking out with friends and family, and snatching up good deals at Labor Day Sales! Evelyn Bond of Lil Butcher Shoppe in Hattiesburg, MS, had a successful Labor Day with the help of CloseBy® Text Marketing. Lil Butcher Shoppe has been a customer of CloseBy® Text Marketing since 2022, and their employees encourage every customer to sign up for the text program by letting them know that by joining, they’ll be the first to hear about promotions and exclusive offers!

In preparation for Labor Day celebrations, Lil Butcher Shoppe wanted to use this opportunity to sell ribeyes over the holiday weekend. On August 28th, Lil Butcher Shoppe sent a text message to the 1,591 members of their text list, letting them know all of the great Labor Day deals they were offering. On September 2nd, they sent out another text promoting their ribeye flash sale. Both messages provided an incredible return for Lil Butcher Shoppe! They sold over 125 boneless ribeyes! Evelyn told us this text was redeemed over 100 times! The average customer that came in spent a minimum of $50. In total these two text messages generated over $5,000 and their text list has now grown to 1,618 members! In one weekend, this business was able to make over 3 times the cost of their Premium CloseBy® Program by sending out 2 text messages! If they continue at this pace and send one message a month, Lil Butcher Shoppe will make $60,000 this year from text alone!
