Congratulations to Jessica Arends on her promotion to Marketing Team Lead!

Jessica joined the Marketing team in the summer of 2022 as a Marketing Assistant and enthusiastically jumped in head first, quickly learning the ropes and earning her promotion to Marketing Coordinator in January of 2023. Earlier this year, Jessica was named the 2023 Marketing Employee of the Year at our annual all-company meeting. Throughout her time on our team, Jessica has demonstrated exceptional problem-solving ability, communication skills, team focus, and a desire to innovate — all qualities that make for a great leader.

Jessica has been working hard toward this promotion by training and developing her teammates, shadowing different areas of the business, learning new skills such as project management, and completing AMP leadership training led by Vice President of Product Fulfillment, Megan Moser.

Jessica was instrumental in the creation of AMPedia – an invaluable resource that is used across our sales teams. In her day to day, Jessica works as a liaison between the Marketing team and the rest of AMP — handling our custom proposal process, social media updates, procedure updates, and more. In her new role as Marketing Team Lead, Jessica will continue her focus on internal marketing, providing marketing assistance to help throughout the sales process and to promote employee engagement across the organization.

We are excited for Jessica to expand upon her responsibilities and gain more institutional knowledge through her work as Marketing Team Lead. She brings a fresh perspective that will undoubtedly be an asset as our department and AMP evolve.

Jessica loves new experiences and often spends her free time in the city with friends exploring museums, trying new restaurants, and attending concerts and film festivals. When she’s not with friends, she’s visiting her parents and their 5 cats in southern Illinois! She enjoys writing poetry, reading, TV, and podcasts.
