Congratulations Sheyla Zagal on her promotion to Marketing Coordinator!

Sheyla’s AMP journey began in 2022 as an Account Manager Support Specialist for our Inside Sales team, working directly with sales reps and clients to support our customers’ success with the OPTIMA™ program. In 2023, she carried her expert knowledge of Inside Sales’ unique processes and challenges to the DIS Operations team where she worked cross-functionally between Sales and Operations to further AMP’s goals of customer satisfaction and account renewal. All of Sheyla’s hard work on this team culminated in her winning DIS Operations 2023 Employee of the Year!

In 2024, the DIS Operations team underwent a final rebrand to Data Marketing – a fitting name change to express how their work on reporting, systems testing, and territory mapping impacts the business beyond our Inside Sales teams. Through all of these changes, Sheyla was an energetic, uplifting, and stable member of the team, consistently striving for accurate and timely reporting while offering a helping hand wherever needed.

Over the past two years, Sheyla has embraced versatility in her role and contributed to a number of key projects related to sales systems, training, reporting, bilingual support, and more. Some of her notable contributions include the creation of our Bilingual Support Team and the piloting of our day 3 and day 20 touchpoint calls to new customers. When Sheyla is presented with a challenge, she is always determined to get to the bottom of it!

As Marketing Coordinator, Sheyla will continue working cross-functionally to support our sales teams as well as assisting our recruiting, product development, and external marketing efforts. She brings to the team not only her expert knowledge of Inside Sales and systems, but a degree in Digital Marketing from DePaul University! We are so excited to see Sheyla excel in this role and make it her own.

Outside of work, Sheyla enjoys reading, running, and spending time with her dogs Teddy and Zoe. She loves exploring coffee shops in the city and cherishes time spent visiting her family in Indiana!
