Congratulations Cortney Iden on her promotion to Senior Text Account Manager!

Cortney started with us two years ago! She started in the business as an Account Manager Support Specialist. Her first day on the phones she turned to me and said “I am going to get an upsell today, no matter what!” And in Cortney fashion, of course she did. Since her start at AMP she has continued to show that when you set your mind to something you can accomplish it.

In early 2024 there was an opening on the CloseBy® Text Marketing Team as a Text Account Manager. Cortney had made herself the obvious choice for that position with her hard work in her current role. She was great at coming up with ideas for our small business owners, upselling them different programs, and had a go-getter mentality. With a leap of faith, Cortney stepped into the Text Account Management role and thrived. In her first few months she was renewing consistently over 60-70% ARR, which are great months for our text team.

Since then, Cortney has helped thousands of small businesses with her ideas and creativity to build amazing text lists and send out engaging messages. She has consistently renewed her accounts at a high rate, and it’s because of her ideas! One of my favorite stories of her customers is with Boss Dawg BBQ. This was a customer who didn’t really know if text would be the right fit for his business, but with Cortney’s ideas it is now the ONLY form of advertising that he will be doing. It’s kept them consistently busy and he thoroughly enjoys working with her.

In Cortney’s free time she likes to go on walks on her farm with her fiancé Rich, and her adorable dog Bear. She recently got engaged and will be getting married to her best friend next year! Cortney is an avid traveler and is always looking for her next destination adventure.
