Congratulations to Courtney Lee on her promotion to Inside Sales Business Operations Manager!
Courtney’s career at AMP is a great example of continued growth, strong performance, and a willingness to take on new opportunities. Courtney joined AMP in 2021 after graduating from Carthage College, beginning her career in Business Development. She quickly demonstrated her ability to connect with customers and drive results and moved into Account Management, where she became one of our top Account Managers for several years.
Most recently, Courtney has served as our Inside Sales Training Manager while simultaneously continuing to perform as one of our top OPTIMA™ Account Managers. Balancing both responsibilities at such a high level speaks to Courtney’s work ethic, ability to prioritize, and understanding of our business. Courtney was named our 2025 Inside Sales Trainer of the Year and is also a Presidential Achievement Award winner. She has consistently demonstrated that she can perform at a high level herself while also helping develop the people around her.
Through July, Courtney is currently ranked #7 out of all OPTIMA™ Account Managers in 2026. She also is one of our top BARR and NRR leaders on the OPTIMA™ Account Management team. To achieve those results while also serving as Inside Sales Training Manager is an incredible accomplishment.
In her role as Inside Sales Training Manager, Courtney has taken on significant responsibility for training and developing our people, leading our interns, and managing and continuously updating our LearnUpon training content. Her career path from Business Development to Account Management to Inside Sales Training Manager has given her a unique perspective on how our processes, systems, training, and teams all work together.
Courtney’s manager, Taylor Vanscoyoc, described her career and impact perfectly:
“Courtney is the perfect example of someone who proved herself in sales and worked for a long time to master the work, then slowly began to train others while maintaining a strong performance herself. Courtney is the person you can count on to get stuff done and is very solution oriented. She has a top notch work ethic and a mindset that is relentlessly helpful in improving the experience of the small business owners we get to serve.”
Those qualities are exactly what make Courtney such a great fit for this next opportunity.
In her new role as Inside Sales Business Operations Manager, Courtney will work with many leaders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for improvement, strengthen communication between departments, clarify and streamline processes, and help ensure our most important Inside Sales initiatives continue moving forward. She is already working on strategic initiatives to help us continue driving operational efficiency for our Account Managers and our customers.
One of our biggest opportunities as we continue to grow is making it easier for our people to do their jobs well and easier for our customers to do business with us. That means better processes, clearer ownership, stronger training, better communication, and continually identifying opportunities to improve. Courtney’s combination of frontline sales experience, top level performance, training leadership, operational knowledge, solution oriented mindset, and willingness to take ownership makes her incredibly well suited for this next step.
Outside of work, Courtney loves spending time with family and friends, staying active, and is always up for trying a new sport or activity. She became a homeowner a little over a year ago, although she says it still feels new, and she loves taking on DIY home improvement projects. She is a proud dog mom to Luna and a big Chicago sports fan, especially the Bears and Cubs.
Congratulations, Courtney, on this well-deserved promotion!
