It’s a great feeling to be through the winter and now into springtime – a period of warmth, growth, and budding opportunity here at AMP.
We finished an incredible first quarter of 2023 together, growing total Q1 sales over Q1 2022 by 19.6% and with even stronger OPTIMA™ sales… 29.7% growth over Q1 2022. January, February and March represented our 30th, 31st and 32nd consecutive months of year over year monthly sales increases.
That record of steadiness and growth is one that few companies can match. It’s a testament to the hard work, diligence, good character, and relentless helpfulness that everyone here at AMP brings to their work each day. Those growth stats are also clear evidence of the expansive opportunities in front of us to serve family owned businesses across the entire country. Those small business owners face an increasingly complicated local advertising environment that is changing at a faster pace than they can keep up with on their own. It’s a crisis for them, and it represents a giant opportunity for AMP. We bring practical expertise and a set of full-service, do-it-for you programs, backed up by a proprietary AMP technology stack. With our help, and at a low cost, their foundational advertising needs – to be visible, attractive, and highly credible when a customer starts to search – are met. Every person here, from developers to Field Sales reps, from Account Managers to Fulfillment team members, is part of that incredible Q1 growth, and everyone should feel a sense of pride in the good work we’re doing for our customers on an ever larger scale.
This season, as the world greens up, as roots push out of seeds, stalks push out of roots, leaves push out of stalks, and flowers begin to open out of leaves, let’s be pushing ourselves too. The spring and early summer season is a great time to be growing and to be working with small business customers who want to grow and succeed also. We’re off to a great start to 2023, with winter behind us and a uniquely wide open road of opportunity in front of us.
