I love this time of year when there starts to be a chill in the air, when the crops start coming down, and when you can see on the evening horizon the lights of high school football fields and soccer stadiums as teams line up to take the field and win. That’s the great feeling I have right now about AMP.
We’re taking the field. We finished the third quarter notching double digit quarterly growth again, and September finished as our 38th straight month of increasing sales.
We spent the entirety of Q3 building. We’re going to capitalize on that in the final three months of 2023 that are now ahead of us. We grew our field sales and DIS headcount substantially and pushed the geographic borders of our sales territory, and we made multiple key promotions in the office — in fulfillment, sales support, marketing, and on other teams. At the same time, we deployed, piloted, and fully launched three new programs — +Menu, +Enhanced Listings, and +Voice — and we began selling them at scale, making recent months the most productive development cycles we’ve ever had. None of that heavy lifting happens without a lot of hard work, or without a lot of teamwork. This is a great team and we’re winning.
We’ve got the capacity to play at another level. Let’s take it one game, and one play, one week, at a time, starting with a strong finish to October. In front of us we have the most dynamic months of the year — months when small business owners look at what they set out to do originally in 2023 and realize they’ve still got important things to do and improve; months when customers look back and look ahead and recognize ways we can help them grow.
There’s a good, natural urgency in the fourth quarter that I feel acutely here at AMP, and that all of our customers feel as well. Every month it feels like we’re stepping into a larger arena of opportunity and growth. Let’s dig in and play well in the fourth quarter!
