The AMP team and their families recently enjoyed a night out cheering on the local Kane County Cougars as they faced the Kansas City Monarchs. The Cougars, the only team in the Chicagoland area with a Major League affiliation, play just a short drive from our headquarters in Dekalb, Illinois, and are known for offering some of the best family-friendly fun in the area. 

Among the highlights of the night, Tiffany Mills, our Director of Payroll Systems and Support, had a memorable family moment. Her son, Cooper, managed to snag two foul balls during the game, and in true MVP fashion, he generously gifted one to his sister. Tiffany shared, “It was a fantastic night at the ballgame with our AMP family! Nights like these remind me that it’s not just about the work we do, but the amazing people we get to work with.”

Later in the game, our GSV Logistics and Photographer Manager Kayli Webster, witnessed another unforgettable moment when her husband caught player Oscar Santos’s home run ball in the 7th inning. As the night went on, attendees battled the heat with ice cream and stayed on the edges of their seats as the KC Cougars took home a 13-4 win! The celebration ended with fireworks lighting up the night sky, capping off an incredible evening. 

Reflecting on the experience, our Director of Project Management, Kristin Bayle shared that the outing provided a meaningful chance to pause and connect. Kristin said, “Our family had been looking forward to the baseball game—it’s one of our favorite ways to enjoy a sporting event together. With how busy life gets, it was such a treat to have a set evening to soak in one of our favorite settings, spend time with each other, and reconnect with the friends we’ve made over the years at AMP.”

Between cheering, snacking, and enjoying the game-winning fireworks, AMP families left with full hearts and lasting memories.
